Students will have responsibilities on the school farm.
The Academy will have a sustainable, productive farm where students can learn firsthand how to grow food and care for animals. The farm will have milk cows, poultry, and other livestock to provide for school needs and to promote a healthy campus culture and student learning.
Intellectual formation in the classroom will be complemented by tasks that apply knowledge across subjects and teach practical skills and self-sufficiency. Working on the farm will reinforce learning through hands-on experiences.
Stewardship
Students will learn how to be good stewards of God’s creation.
We will use the beautiful, natural environment surrounding the campus to teach students about ecosystems and related themes such as forest management and maintaining clean water in our communities.
